A warm welcome awaits
you at Ullathorns, a working sheep and beef farm situated in the quiet, unspoilt Lune Valley. It is midway between the market towns of Sedbergh
and Kirkby Lonsdale, both 5 miles away. The farm is
situated below Middleton Fell, three quarters of a mile from the main road.
The farmhouse is dated 1617 and 'Ullathorn' is a
viking name for a place where wolves lie. Refreshments are served upon
arrival.
Ullathorns is an ideal touring base being close to the
Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District,
and the Trough of Bowland, all having beautiful scenery and
many visitor attractions. England’s largest show cave at Ingleton is
only 10 miles away.
